Small Groups!

Life is not meant to be lived alone. You were created to experience life with other people and that’s why we encourage you to join a small group or start your own. Small groups are three or more people who gather each week in a home, church, restaurant or coffee houses. In the group you enjoy one another’s company while studying and praying together.

Small groups come in all shapes and sizes; married couples, men, women, singles, young parents and Starting a new group is easy, you just need to decide what your group is about. Why do you want to start your group? Do you want to study a particular book of the Bible? Are you looking to connect with people? What is the purpose of your group and why should others join?

Once you have chosen the purpose of your group it is time to plan your first meeting. Focus on fun, and get everyone talking within the first ten minutes. No matter what kind of group you are starting the foundation must be built on relationships so the first meeting should focus on getting to know each other and having fun. That time spent having fun will pave the way for honesty and vulnerability later on.

There are many resources for small groups available in the library and if you can’t find something we will find it for you!
