Illumination Station
Get ready for an exciting adventure at Vacation Bible School 2026.
All current preschool through 6th grade students are invited to join us as we discover the truth about who Jesus really is, the Light of the World. Each day, kids will explore Bible stories from Scripture, participate in hands on activities, enjoy music and games, and build friendships along the way.
Throughout the week, children will be grounded in God’s Word and encouraged to grow in their faith while having a great time. We can’t wait to welcome your family to VBS 2026.

Everyone is welcome to join the fun!
Open to current preschool through 6th grade students.
No church membership required.
Friends are welcome to join as well!

Where is drop off?
The East side of the building will be drop off. There will tables outside the door to check in or sign up.
How does pick up work?
Adults doing pick up will be let into the building after all students are back in their classrooms. You will go to the classroom your child is in. A VBS volunteer will ask your name and make sure your name is on the pick up list. If you know what color classroom your child is in, you can follow the color to their classroom (there will be trail on the floor of colors to follow). If you need something during VBS please call the church office at 419-668-1923.
What does my kid need to bring?
You could bring a water bottle with the child’s name on it if the prefer, but is not necessary. Each day there will be a paper sent home with your child. This paper has information about VBS on it as well as activities for you child to do. If your child brings the paper back the next day, they earn extra stickers that go towards earned prizes.
What are the safety precautions?
We use the curriculum from Lifeway – this years theme is Illumination Station. You can learn more about this curriculum by clicking HERE. A summary of what we discussed each day will be on the take home sheet.
What will my child learn?
All volunteers undergo screening and follow FPC’s safety and child-protection guidelines.
What else should I know?
A family carnival will be held Friday night 5-7 pm. At 5:00 the children will perform their songs they learned during VBS and we will play the slideshow of photos. Then there will be a meal served to families (hot dogs, chips, water/lemonade) and various carnival activities.
